Worth knowing
Under the Commercial Courts Law, commercial claims are not heard after five years from when the right arose, unless the defendant acknowledges it or the claimant has an excuse the court accepts.
A bounced cheque is an enforceable instrument: it can be filed directly with the Enforcement Court without a full lawsuit.
